In Loving Memory Margaret Lorraine Deter 7/27/1926 -6/27/2010

Lolly, as most friends, family and co-workers called her, was born June 27, 1926 to Earl and Mabel Ferral at McCloud, CA.



Her family moved to Happy Valley, CA when she was eight years old. She graduated from Anderson High School in 1944.

She worked many years as a grocery clerk and a meat wrapper for Farmer's Market. It has been said that when Lolly laughed, you could hear her all over the store. She had an infectious smile, a quick wit, and a winning personality.

When her daughters were still in high school, she attended Shasta College for two years and then Chico State for four more years earning her Masters Degree in Psychology with honors. She worked for Shasta County School as a child psychologist until her retirement.



She is preceded in death by her mother, father, husband Leo Deter, and sister Arlene Vess.



She leaves behind her daughters, Danna Jones (Dick) of Millville, CA., and Charlene Markwick of Shasta, CA., her brothers, Larry Ferral of Sacramento, CA and Marlin Ferral of Falls Church, CA., 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandson.
