Sharon passed away quietly and peacefully with her family by her side on March 6, 2013 at Shasta Regional Hospital.

Sharon was born to Claude and Katherine Scott on October 5, 1939 in Pasadena, CA.

Sharon leaves behind her most faithful companion "Maggie." She is survived by her three children, Cathy Grindstaff (Paul), Barbara Martin (Mike) and Scott Taggart (Teri). "Wawa" will be greatly missed by her surviving six grandchildren, Amy, Carey, Michael, Emily, Warren and Wynona and her four great-grandchildren. Sharon is also survived by her brother Gary Scott, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Sharon will be remembered for her wit and humor, never meeting a stranger and the "Costco Lady" to her many friends.

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents Claude and Katherine, her husband John and her grandchildren Dustin and Wyatt. It is their turn to have her with them.

Per Sharon's wishes, no services will be conducted. All other arrangements are being handled by Allen & Dahl.
