Rick James Carter

U.S. Veteran

Rick James Carter, Age 61, born in Redding, CA on May 25, 1951. He was predeceased by his father R. James Carter Jr. and stepfather Vern Helton. He leaves his daughter and son-in-law Sierra and Kenny Garrison. Grandsons, Kenny Garrison IV and Carter James Garrison. Mother Ruth Helton; Brother, Randy Carter (Laurie), and their children Chris Carter and Nicole (Chris) Roberts. Sister, Robin Carter. All from Redding. Step sisters Melony (Bernd) Winkelmann of N.C., Kayla Barstad of Washington, Linda (Mike) Murnin of Peltaluma and step mother Dortha Carter of Petaluma.

Rick attended Mistletoe and Parsons Schools. Graduated from Enterprise HS in 1969. Attended Shasta College and Chico State University. He was currently employed by Builders Door and Window and previously worked at Meeks in Redding and managed Chico Meeks.

Services will be held at Allen & Dahl in Palo Cedro at 11:00am on Wednesday, March 13, 2013
