Jonathan McInteer was born in North Dakota on March 4, 1920. He had a sister much older, so he was raised as an only child.
He did not want to harm anyone so he became a conscientious objector. Love of all people in the world lead him to believe in world citizenship. His love included commissioning a mural of the earth on a wall on north Market. He was a free spirit that elevated the people around him to joy and happiness.
He will be missed by his many friends and family. He leaves a son Wayne and a daughter Cathy.
He passed on at Copper Ridge on July 30, 2012. A celebration of life to be held in early September. Please call the Unitarians at 221-7222 for information.
